Where to Find Inspiration for Luxury Fashion Dissertation Topics?

I am beginning my dissertation, and I am having problems when trying to focus on ideas. I would prefer to concentrate on the topics of luxury fashion dissertation topics, but I do not know where to find new inspiration. Am I supposed to be reading more industry reports, reading case-studies of particular brands, or researching consumer behavior? Have you previously written in this field, and where did you get the most interesting and pertinent themes? Any advice will be highly welcome.
